Yvette Wilson who played Andell Wilkerson on two hit 90s shows, Moesha and The Parkers has unfortunately passed last night from a long battle with cancer. Co star Shar Jackson, who placed Niecey on Moesha went to Twitter to ask fans to send out their prayers to Yvette and then last night she finally made the sad announcement that she had passed.

Last month Yvette reached out to the public hoping to get financial help for the mounting medical bills she had accumulated from her Stage 4 cervical cancer. She needed $25,000 by the 1st of June to undergo proper treatment to go up against the cancer which came back “very aggressive,” as she expressed.
It's good to know that she didn't let her pride get in the way of her getting help with her finances, I just wish that we as a society and as fans wouldn't have had to lose another beautiful black woman to cancer. We have got to find a cure one day.
