Lil' Wayne Releases Statement on Pulling Nicki from Summer Jam and Rosenberg Replies By Taking Shots at Wayne and Nicki

Get More: Lil Wayne, Music News

So Weezy went on MTV News to explain why he made the executive decision to pull Nicki from the Summer Jam line up after Hot 97 Radio personality, Peter Rosenberg took shots at her "Starships" track. He said that he felt she was disrespected as a woman and that all women deserve respect.

Rosenberg of course went on the radio today to reply to Wayne's statement and instead of apologizing he decided to show how Wayne and Nicki also disrespect woman by playing vulgar lyrics from assorted songs that the two artists have either been featured on or released themselves.

Lil' Wayne Coaches Youth Basketball Team

Lil Wayne took to the court to mentor seventh and eighth grade students at the Celebrity Court of Dreams charity game at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami over the weekend. The Young Money chief coached the YMCMB All Stars as they faced off against the South Beach AllStars amateur athletic union team.

Halfway through the game, he switched sides and joined the kids on their team. Bow Wow even showed up and helped lead the South Beach All Stars to a one-point win over YMCMB.

“Whatever dream you have, don’t quit,” Coach Carter told his young fans. “Don’t let anyone try and stop you.”

New Videos: Drake ft. Rihanna - "Take Care" & Drake ft. Lil' Wayne - "HYFR"

The wait is finally over and we get to see Drake embrace Rihanna in his arms once again in the highly anticipated video ‘Take Care.’  The video has a very intimate, humbling and delicate vibe with minimal visuals which allows us to focus on them. It comes off as an artistic therapy session where Drake reveals his inner feelings all while Rihanna listens and reacts to his subtle emotions. Simplicity at its best.

Switching to a more lively vibe, his YMCMB crew comes to help Drake celebrate getting  re-bar mitzvah’d in the ‘HYFR’ video.   It’s a visual interpretation of his second bar mitzvah, which opens with exclusive footage from Drake’s childhood where he does an adorable (and gif-worthy) dance. Then Lil Wayne, Birdman and DJ Khaled sit amid the pews while Trey Songz downs a bottle of Patron after lighting some ceremonial candles.
