After all the tears and aggravation Chrissy finally got her ring at the end of the last season of L&HH but is she really ready to get married, have kids and officially settle down??? Exclusive: Ochocinco Arrested for Brutal Head Butt To Wife Evelyn Lozada-Johnson

Yesterday, Chad Johnson (better known as Ochocinco before he changed his name back), was arrested for domestic violence after he allegedly head butted his new wife Evelyn Lozada. According to NFL.com, the two got into an argument while driving home from dinner after Chad found a receipt for a box of condoms belonging to Evelyn [Update: There are conflicting stories on this..the Davie Police chief has been quoted as saying that it was Evelyn that confronted Chad over a receipt she found for a box of condoms]. The cops were called and when they arrived, Evelyn had a nice sized laceration on her forehead. Chad told police that he and Evelyn accidentally knocked heads, however he was arrested and she was taken to a nearby hospital.

As of now, Chad is still in jail and is not eligible for release until a bail hearing is set which could be as late as Monday.

The couple were married on July 4th and are set to appear in a Basketball Wives spinoff show ‘Ev & Ocho’, complete with a wedding special, which will premiere in September.

Meanwhile, VH1 producers are probably trying to figure out how to spin this. You couldn’t make this type of stuff up.
Hopefully this was all an accident. In the 12 years that he has been in the NFL, he has never been arrested.

As of this morning, Chad has been released on a $2500 bond and ordered to stay away from Evelyn until this is resolved.

Meanwhile, here is a little bit more clarity on exactly what happened via CBS News:

Allegedly, the argument between Johnson and his wife started in their vehicle when they were returning from dinner. Lozada apparently found a receipt for a box of condoms, and as they argued, Lozada told police that Johnson head-butted her, causing a laceration that needed to be treated. Johnson told police they accidently knocked heads.

“It gets pretty heated,” Davie police captain Dale Engle told the South Florida Sun Sentinel. “By the time they get home here in Davie, it’s pretty heated. She alleges he leaned over and head butted her. He says she leaned towards him and that they butted heads. Needless to say she has a good laceration on her forehead.”

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta's Mimi Releases Statement About The Show and Where Her Relationship Stands With Stevie J

Now if LHHATL is your new guilty pleasure as it is mine you know all about Mimi Faust and her dyfunctional relationship with producer Stevie J. Well last night the shit hit the fan when Joseline, Stevie's artist and side chick sat down to have a meeting with Mimi and told her all about how she's pregnant with Stevie's baby. So of course Mimi was in denial based upon Joseline's stripper past but when Stevie came to the meeting with the pregnancy test in hand there was no denying it anymore and she left out overwhelmed while Stevie ran after Joseline not her the woman he has been with for 15 YEARS.

Since the show has debuted apparently Mimi's eyes have finally opened up and she sees that she is worth so much more and she has released a statement via twitter last night expressing how she feels about all that has gone down. Read it below:

"Doing the show was a blessing and a curse. I’d still be in the dark and clueless had I not done it. The downside is dealing with the truth.

It hurts to find out the man u loved so much was capable of doing the most but I’ve been given the gift of clarity. My new beginning begins

My only wish is for my daughter to learn from my mistakes and know her worth and never experience what I’ve been thru. I love her sooo much

But at the end of the day a very dysfunctional relationship produced the most pure love Ive ever experienced. My daughter. So no regrets

I just want to thank all my followers for coming on this rollercoaster ride with me. I appreciate all the kind words. Seriously. Much love

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta: Hit or Miss?

Last night Love & Hip Hop Atlanta debuted on Vh1 and it was FULL of DRAMA and so much more. So the cast is made up of main characters; K. Michelle, former Jive Records recording artist; Karlie, upcoming singer and rapper; Rasheeda, a rapper who's been grinding for a very long tiime in ATL; Mimi, girlfriend to producer Stevie J; Joseline, upcoming latin rapper and Stevie J's "artist"; and Erica, rapper Lil' Scrappy's long time girlfriend. Now that you have a break down of who everyone is I have got to let yall know exactly how i felt about this season premiere.

This show is a HOT MESS. So the episode starts with Stevie J taking his girlfriend Mimi to what i might say was a beautiful house and let's her know that he bought it for her and their daughter, NOT FOR THEIR FAMILY but just for them two. So Erica's antennas immediately go up and she's like so you trynna buy this house for us all the way out here so you can do your thing out in Atlanta. In my opinion Stevie is obviously a smooth talker, he has been with this girl for 15 YEARS and she don't have at least an engagment ring, she allows him to get away with being unfaitful because she mentioned infidelity numerous times but yet after 15 years she is still with him so in my opinion she ALLOWS him to cheat. So blah blah blah.... she tells him she needs a few days to think about it but i'm pretty sure she is gonna move because she truly doesn't seem too bright.

Alright next scene, So Mimi goes to tell her friend all about the house and how she feels its basically A SHUT YOUR ASS UP AND BE HAPPY reward and her friend is just like why the hell are you still wasting your time with this man, he don't appreciate you and he isn't faitful and just basically telling her to move on and this is where i really got upset because it truly bothers me that Mimi does not LOVE HERSELF enough to know that this man is terrible to her and what kind of example is she giving her DAUGHTER by letting this man treat her the way that he does. I'm sure this child has heard arguements, seen her mother cry and much more and if she can't leave for herself she needs to leave for her baby girl.

Okay so on to the next couple, Erica and Scrappy. So the two of them have been together on and off for countless years and they broke up when Scrappy started dating Diamond from Crime Mob and when Diamond started dating Soulja Boy of course Scrappy came crawling back to Erica and like a fool she took him back. So now there biggest problems seems to be Erica's lack of trust in him and Scrappy's yearn for more affection in their relationship on top of the fact that his mother Mama Dee is VERYYY involved in their relationship (doesn't this remind you of another L&HH Mama).

Then there's former Jive Records recording artist, K. Michelle who i must say can really sing her ass off. She is starting her career over after her ex Memphitz, A&R exec and Toya, (Weezy's baby mama's) husband basically had her black listed in the industry after she told people about him PHYSICALLY abusing her.

and LAST but certainly not least on to Stevie's "artist", Joseline and i say "artist" because it is clear as day that he is sleeping with this woman. There's a scene where she meets him at the studio and their all hugged up and she's calling him DADDY and BABY and then he puts on her latest track (which sounded just like a Somaya Reece song) and she starts doing this little sexy dance in front of him in these little poom poom shorts and he even has the nerve to smack her ass cause he apparently has no shame in his game and he must have forgotten that Mimi was obviously gonna see all of this when the show debuted. and cut to the last scene Joseline and Stevie they seemed really cozy and right when the girls are exchanging gossip, Steve and Joseline walk into the club TOGETHER and this ass hole has the nerve to come over and kiss all on Mimi and she is grilling him like she wants to knock his head off and idk why she didnt but anyway so eventually Joseline, Mimi, Stevie, and Karlie end up sitting together and Karlie tells Mimi that she saw Joseline and Stevie kissing and since Joseline is playing SIDE LINE HOE OF THE CENTURY she is BS'n Mimi with Stevie telling her idk what this girl is talking about blah blah blah. So Mimi leaves the club and Stevie was gonna run after her and Joseline throws a drink on him and is like ACT LIKE YOU KNOW (side bitch got him in check) so he eventually gets outside with Mimi and their talking and the chick Joseline calls him and this mofo has the nerve to answer and Mimi like a fool is doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING she told him if you leave with her i see where your loyalty lies and of course he left with her and she stood their looking like a DAMN FOOL.

LONG STORY SHORT, Mimi is a damn idiot, Scrappy is gonna end up leaving Erica's stupid ass again soon, K. Michelle might be able to make it with that voice, Karlie needs to give it up on the music stuff and she can forget trynna work with Stevie, Joseline might end up pregnant by Stevie according to the preview for next week, Stevie is a dog of all dogs, and idk if imma be watching much more of this foolishness.

Evelyn Says She Misses Jennifer In Recent Vibe Mag Interview

Everyone’s favorite-not-so-favorite ‘Basketball Wives’ star Evelyn Lozada has unintentionally branded herself as a trash-talking, table jumping reality star who will threaten a Bronx beatdown at any given moment, but she also has a soft, apologetic side once you get around the rough edges. She recently sat down with Vibe Magazine for a candid interview on ‘Basketball Wives Season 4′ and discussed everything from her failed relationship with Jennifer Williams and why she misses her, to her newfound friendship with Rihanna (with whom she met on Twitter) and her fiance Chad Ochocinco.

She also revealed plans to keep her last name due to the brand that she’s beginning to build.

Peep a few excerpts:

On whether she felt she could have handled her beef with Jennifer a lot differently
I think so. A lot was happening during that time. I’m one of those people, I said some things and I was just like, that was not cool. I live by loyalty and I feel like, at that point, I broke the friend code. I should have never broken that code and I should have never stooped down to that level. Like, if she wants to do interviews and slick comments, it is what it is. I don’t hate her. People just get caught up in this industry; you do interviews and say certain things. I truly don’t wish her anything negative, we’ve gone through a lot together as friends from moving out, men drama, all types of stuff. It’s just tough having to relive it then talk about it. You never have that time for healing. But now that the show is done and things are calming down, I’m not angry anymore about it and I don’t hate her at all. I don’t really hate anybody, I was just upset how things were handled.

On whether she misses Jennifer Williams
I miss her. We were friends for 10 years. I was in her wedding, so you know yeah, and your thinking you guys are going to do this show together, your BFF, and then your kind of like what happened? And we are mutual friends with a lot of people, so everything else became weird energy. It was tough.

On how she developed thick skin
I’ve accepted that this is a part of my life and apart of my world now. The more the show became popular, and I started dating Chad, its been like chaos. I’m never going to hide and I’m always one of those people that say TV can be a gift and a curse, and at the same time it’s opened up doors for me that I never would have imagined.

On what she’s learned from being on ‘Basketball Wives’
Just to probably listen. Everyone always says it on the show, ‘Evelyn goes from 0-10.’ And that’s how I’ve always been since I was 13. Where I grew up, most people wouldn’t say, Okay, let’s have a conversation. That’s not the way things were dealt with where I grew up. You running your mouth? You talking sh-t? Things happen. There’s consequences for that. I’ve learned it’s not all about screaming and yelling and, ‘Oh, you’re a fucking b-tch.’ Most of the time I don’t get my point across.
[...] I was born and raised in the Bronx and went to public school in Manhattan. New York is a hustle and bustle type of place, you’re in cab getting cursed out and everyone is so high-strung. You’re always on defense mode. I love New York; I wouldn’t take anything back, but you become a little aggressive [Laughs].

On her relationship with Rihanna
We became cool on Twitter [laughs], and she’s cool! She lives her life and does what the fuck she wants and I love that about her. It’s tough because all of a sudden your supposed to be perfect and a role model to everyone and not live your life and I think she does what she needs to do, she’s young and having fun. Growing up, I didn’t necessarily say ‘oh my god! Look at Madonna I want to be just like her’, I just loved her music. I feel like people put so much pressure on these celebrities and it’s like I think parents should be role models and if you don’t want your kids watching these things then don’t. Like my daughter is almost 19 and she will tell you that growing up she had parental control for the TV, because of HBO etc. In my eyes, Rihanna can do no wrong, I think she’s an amazing artist. She’s gorgeous, handles her business, and lives her life with no apologies.

On whether she is going to drop her last name
I don’t know. I’m going to keep Evelyn Lozada for now because it’s a brand that I’m building. It’s my own little thing I got going on. We are still on the fence of that though, so we’ll see.

VH1's "Single Ladies" Trailer

It’s been almost a year since VH1 premiered it’s first hour long original scripted series, ‘Single Ladies’ and now the network is gearing up for the highly-anticipated second season which features some cast changes. After actress Stacey Dash abruptly left the series last season, actress Denise Vasi swooped in to take her place, however, instead of taking on the role Val, she’s playing Racquel, a long time friend of Keisha’s (LisaRaye). Raquel has just broken off her engagement and she’s ready to link back up with her first love in Hotlanta.

Meanwhile, Keisha is still stirring up some trouble of her own after she and Malcolm (D.B. Woodside) begin having relationship problems and an old flame comes back into town looking to spice things up. April (Charity Shea) seems to be enjoying the single life for the first time but doesn’t like it when it all gets old jumping from man to man. There will also be appearances by a ton of celebs including executive producer Queen Latifah, T.I. Paula Patton, Romeo Miller, Rozanda ‘Chilli’ Thomas, Big Boi, and comedian Tony Rock. They’ve also brought in a full season worth of eye candy….

Lil' Kim, Eve, Missy Elliot and More Perform at Paradise Theater

Last night, Lil Kim kicked off the ‘Return of The Queen’ tour at Paradise theater in the Bronx and it was all love as rap veterans like Pepa (of Salt & Pepa) EVE and Missy Elliot came out to support as well as Mob Wives’ star Drita, Love & Hip Hop’s Somaya Reece and a very pregnant Yandy Smith.

The show kicked off with Lil Kim performing ‘Black Friday’ before she went into a few crowd favorites from ‘Hardcore’, ‘The Notorious K.I.M’, ‘The Naked Truth’ and ‘La Bella Mafia’.

Eventually, the beat for Missy Elliott’s ‘Hot Boys’ dropped and the crowd went crazy as Eve and Missy Elliott hit the stage to perform their verses. Eve also stuck around and rocked the crowd to ‘What y’all want’.

Mob Wives’ Drita D’Vanzo also appeared on stage with Lil Kim to perform, ‘It’s All About The Benjamins’. Lil Kim had spotted Drita in a few youtube videos covering her songs at parties and she reached out to her and asked her to host the show and perform.

It's always nice to see a bunch of woman come together whether in music or just in life.

VH1's Single Ladies Season 2 Set To Debut Next Month

If you’re a fan of the show like I am, you’ve been waiting a while for the new season of VH1′s ‘Single Ladies’ and now — Keisha ( LisaRaye McCoy), Raquel ( Denise Vasi) and April ( Charity Shea) are back for the 2nd season of the Queen Latifah-produced television series.

Denise Vasi will be playing Keisha’s friend, a sophisticated business woman coming into her own and calling the shots (as you all know, Stacy Dash decided to leave the show last year)..

VH1′s ‘Single Ladies’ officially kicks off on Monday, May 28th at 9PM ET/PT.

This season, La La Anthony, T.I., Lauren London, Romeo, Rick Fox, Big Boi, Eve, Chili, and of course Queen Latifah will be making guest appearances.
