Family Friend Being Brought Under Investigation In Tameka Raymond's Son's Jet Ski Accident

Tameka Raymond's son Kyle remains hospitalized after his jet ski accident this weekend on Lake Lanier in Atlanta. And it's being reported that the man on the jet ski that hit Kyle was a family friend. And he is now under investigation.

Tameka has also reportedly spoken out with brief words about the status of her little boy. Details inside...

Radar Online reports that they spoke to Tameka in the midst of Kyle fighting for his life at Children’s Healthcare at Egelston Hospital in Atlanta. When based about his critical status, after being declared "brain dead," Tameka allegedly told the site these simple words:

"He’s bad.”

On an unconfirmed Facebook account claiming to be Tameka Raymond's, these words appeared:

“Kyle, You are strong.. You'll be saved I know it. I love you my baby. I need all #Prayers for my son! thanks you everybody!”

Reports have also surfaced that an investigation has been launched into family friend Jeffery Hubbard. He was named as the man who was driving the jet ski that struck Kyle, who was riding an innertube alongside a 15-year-old girl. The NY Daily News reports:

Family friend Jeffrey S. Hubbard of Atlanta is under investigation for the Friday afternoon collision with the 11-year-old boy who was riding in an inner tube on Georgia’s Lake Lanier, an official told the Daily News.

“Basically, a pontoon was pulling two juveniles on an inner tube, and the watercraft ran over the top of them,” Sgt. Mike Burgamy with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources told The News.

He said two of his rangers witnessed what appeared to be a tragic accident.

Alcohol was not a factor, and investigators do not believe it was a mechanical malfunction, he said.

Both young victims – the other being an unidentified 15-year-old girl – were wearing life jackets, he said.

Run DMC, Set To Do Their First Performance In 10 Years in Austin, Texas

Joseph "Run" Simmons and Darryl "DMC" McDaniels will perform as Run-DMC for the first time in nearly a decade at the seventh annual Fun Fun Fun Fest, set for November 2-4 in Austin, Texas.

Simmons and McDaniels officially retired the Run-DMC moniker in November 2002, just days after founding member Jason "Jam Master Jay" Mizell was shot and killed in his Queens recording studio. Ten years later, his death remains unsolved, and in the decade since, the relationship between the two surviving members became strained. They famously decided against performing as Run-DMC when the group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009.

But in a show of solidarity — and as a way of marking the ten-year anniversary of Jay's murder — Simmons and McDaniels will not only headline the Fun Fun Fun main stage, but are working with organizers to donate a portion of the proceeds from the festival to the JMJ Foundation for Music, which is dedicated to providing access to the arts for children and young adults. Last year, DMC remembered his slain friend to MTV's RapFix blog, saying, "Jason made the deejay rock n' roll ... and he died where he grew up, trying to take his people to a better place."

Run-DMC join previously announced acts like Atlas Sound, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Against Me!, Danny Brown and David Cross at the 2012 Fun Fun Fun Fest. The full lineup will be announced Thursday (July 12), the same day three-day passes go on sale through the festival's official site.

Well last night the shit hit the fan when Joseline, Stevie's artist and side chick sat down to have a meeting with Mimi and told her all about how she's pregnant with Stevie's baby. So of course Mimi was in denial based upon Joseline's stripper past but when Stevie came to the meeting with the pregnancy test in hand there was no denying it anymore and she left out overwhelmed while Stevie ran after Joseline not her the woman he has been with for 15 YEARS.

Lil' Wayne Releases Statement on Pulling Nicki from Summer Jam and Rosenberg Replies By Taking Shots at Wayne and Nicki

So Weezy went on MTV News to explain why he made the executive decision to pull Nicki from the Summer Jam line up after Hot 97 Radio personality, Peter Rosenberg took shots at her "Starships" track. He said that he felt she was disrespected as a woman and that all women deserve respect.

Rosenberg of course went on the radio today to reply to Wayne's statement and instead of apologizing he decided to show how Wayne and Nicki also disrespect woman by playing vulgar lyrics from assorted songs that the two artists have either been featured on or released themselves.

2 Chainz Joins Nicki Minaj on U.S. Tour

Fresh off his supporting slot on Drake’s “Club Paradise” tour, 2 Chainz will join Young Money’s First Lady for the North America portion, with the exception of Los Angeles and Oakland. The month-long journey kicks off July 16 in Chicago and ends in August in Vancouver.
